After undertaking consultation and a needs analysis, Antonine College then engaged WRA to develop a master plan for the secondary year levels’ St Joseph Campus.

This was arranged into three main project stages comprising, Stage 1 - New General Learning Wing extension, Stage 2 - Gymnasium, Science, Arts and Outdoor Sports, and Stage 3 - Administration, Chapel, Performing Arts, and Canteen. 

Recommendations from the master planning found some buildings had the opportunity for retention and upgrade, but many aged facilities including portable classrooms and existing indoor sports courts, were insufficient.

With the adoption of the master plan, construction of Stages 1 and 2 became priority for the College, with design and documentation completed quickly to allow construction over sequential years.

To date we have completed Stage 1 and are underway on site for Stage 2.

Between these major stages, additional projects have also been undertaken including the $1m Library extension and refurbishment completed in February 2020, and the $1m Administration and Canteen extension and refurbishments to provide interim upgrades until Stage 3 works are completed.
