The West Gippsland Arts Centre is a much loved regional performing arts centre, originally built in 1982.
In 2012 Williams Ross were commissioned to undertake master planning and a feasibility report to identify future development opportunities for the centre. This enabled Council to develop their strategic plan in 2014 / 2015 to successfully seek support and funding for the project.
Working closely with Council, WRA has developed the concept design. The project includes redevelopment of the centre, increasing the theatre seating capacity to 750 seats, upgrading public foyer spaces and amenities and greatly improving access. A new landscaped forecourt and approach will provide a signficant public space for an important regional facility.
