The University of Melbourne engaged WRA to undertake Needs Analysis of the School of Art, and Schools of Performing Arts and Musical Theatre at the VCA, Southbank campus.

Analysis of existing facilities included evaluation of size, quality, suitability of spaces to their purpose, and their spatial relationships. To understand the Schools’ future needs, existing and future student and staff numbers, and existing and new programs were analysed. Benchmarking of comparable tertiary facilities was also undertaken.

The Needs Analysis identified facility needs and key opportunities for future organisational integration and collaboration.
