WRA were engaged to provide full architectural design and documentation services and partial contract administration services for a new multi-purpose sports facility. The project won the Australian Institute of Architects 2010 Public Architecture Award - New Buildings.
The project comprises a new high-ball indoor sports centre with a focus on netball including four indoor courts, five outdoor courts, reception, café, office, 25 place child care centre, meeting room, change and referees facilities. The centre incorporates many ESD
features including photovoltaic power generation and rainwater harvesting.
