WRA undertook the sympathetic refurbishment and extension of the existing centre—a locally adored building from the 1970s.

Scope of works included the addition of a new foyer and Box Office, administration, servery kitchen, and stores. Refurbishments focused on accessibility and amenities upgrades, water harvesting, solar power, improved lighting and IT/AV.

A landscaped amphitheatre provides a distinctive viewing area to enjoy concerts and performing arts activities.
