The new STEAMD Centre and College Administration building at OLSC is the first major project from the recently completed master plan.

On a constrained campus in Box Hill, the new three-storey building houses Science, Art, Design, Music and Drama facilities. A landscaped courtyard has been designed around the existing mature trees, framing the new front door to the College. College reception and administration functions have relocated to the ground floor of the new facility with teaching staff work space and social space on the top level with city views and a roof terrace.

The central stair provides a focal point for student and staff movement with a glazed skylight over bringing natural light into the heart of the building.

The facility was completed late 2024, with the landscape and further learning space refurbishment due for completion early 2025.
