The refurbishment of the Springvale City Hall adapts and upgrades its facilities for use as a new community events venue. Works include improving access for all users, upgrades to mechanical systems, improving acoustics, and general functionality.

Distinctive 1970’s features of the City Hall were retained and sympathetically upgraded to give the building a new life. New decorative screens on the extensive north windows, together with blinds, provide glare and black-out control, enhancing its use for presentations and performance.
