Virginia joined WRA on its founding in 1988; became a Director in 1992 and Managing Director in 2006. She has since moved into a consulting role, using her wealth of experience and specialisation in cultural and performing arts facilities to bring value to our projects.
With excellent communication and analytic skills, Virginia undertakes many pre-design activities – Briefing, Master Planning, Feasibility Analysis and Conceptual Design. Training in organisational group-work enhances her capacity to undertake effective and in-depth consultation.
She has presented at several conferences including the International Museum Construction Conference, Copenhagen, 2017; London and New York Theatre Architecture Conferences in 2012, 2008 and 2006; Prague Quadrennial, 2011 (International Organisation of Theatre Practitioners); the Community and Leisure Facilities Conference, 2005, among others.
Virginia is a recognised Australian expert in cultural facilities and oversights all WRA cultural & community work.
